What would a site on Home Business be worth without a thorough section on Google® Adwords®? Not much! The pay per click revolution began several years ago, although it's origins are much earlier. I'm not going to get into a history lesson, suffice it to say pay per click advertising has been around longer than the Adwords program. That being said Google made it wildly popular along with other PPC programs such as Overture, now a Yahoo property.

Why is the Google Adwords so popular? The reason is simple. When you combine the worlds largestHome Business - Google Adwords graphic search engine with a pay per click program the results are incredible for both advertisers and publishers as well as the program owner, in this case Google.

Some quick reasoning:

A) You have a product that is unique and you want to get it out into the market before anyone else thinks of it.

Answer: Set up an Adwords® program to advertise your site and product. You can be up and running within minutes and your ad(s) will start to appear almost immediately on Google search pages. To sign up just go to http://www.adwords.google.com. A few things to think about:

+ There are four visible lines to think about in a Google Adwords ad. Title, ad line 1, ad line 2 and the visible url.
+ You have on 25 characters (with spaces) available for the Title. This has to be very catchy. You can't use words like best, the finest and so on unless they are actually part of the name of your product or service. You need to be very creative. Also you can't use exclamation points within the title or ad body.
+ You have two ad lines of 35 characters each with spaces included. Make every word count for maximum effectiveness.
+ Display URL needs to be the actual URL without the http included. There are some very interesting ideas about the visible URL of which are creative to say the least. The important thing to note is that if you try anything furtive Google will pick up on it and your ad will not be displayed.

I don't know how others have experienced this, but my income seemed to be less if I had more than one block of Adsense ads displayed at once - and your CTR is definitely less if you have more than one ad impression at a time.

The method I fell upon was the TRAFFIC EXCHANGES, which guarantee visitors to your site in exchange for you visiting other people sites. Some of these TRAFFIC EXCHANGES operate with Google Ad clicking in mind, promising no guarantee that people would click on your Ads, but you will see an increase in Google Ad clicking.

Being stupid and impatient and at the time not realising I was doing anything really wrong I joined ten of these TRAFFIC EXCHANGES and built up my traffic credits every day for a month and sure enough I got thousands of visitors and quite a few clicks on my Google Ads, it wasn't thousands of dollars but it was enough to put a smile on my face.

Then like a bolt of lightening from the heavens, a nice little email came from Google expressing they had been detecting invalid page impressions from TRAFFIC EXCHANGES and if this was to continue they may have to ban my account.

Tip! Don't make your ads look like ads! People are so 'banner blind' now that they'll skim right over your AdSense ads if you make them look too much like actual ads.
